The passsing of Bill is a very sorrowful time for me. I first met Bill at Bell Labs in Murray Hill in 1962, and we remained friends and colleagues since then. Bill gave me great guidance in my BTL career, and was always willing to help in documentaion of various radio experiments. Bill knew all the right "buzz words" to get a point across in the technical world. He will long be remembered, and deeply missed. Lee Morris The following notes were sent to me from friends and colleagues of Bill: ____________________________________________________________________________ A real loss of a good and dear friend. I will miss him. Sometimes I think he taught me all of the really important things that I know and that I needed to know. Doug Hutcheson ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Such sad news. Bill was my first boss. His vast and deep knowledge in the field and his hands on management style will always be my guide. Bill hired me while I knew nothing about multi-path propagation. I¹ll always remember and be graceful to Bill. May our Lord and Father make his presence felt and comfort his family at this difficult time. York Wang --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bill WILL be sorely missed -- I had been holding out hope (and with some prayers) that Bill would once again overcome a significant adversity... But as you know, our Father 'does know best' even when things don't seem to compute as WE might see them. We remain instructed to pray for each other. Ginnie and I add our prayers to (all of) yours that HIS Light Perpetual will shine upon Bill, and for strength and understanding for his wife and family.
